Every score TV Intelligentsia has published, in one file.
2,587 films and television series, 225 of them children's titles, each rated
0 to 200 on a public, versioned methodology. No studio funding, no affiliate
revenue, and no advertiser has ever seen a score before it published.
Title and URL. The work's name and its permanent score page.
TVI Score, 0 to 200. A composite of three weighted dimensions:
Cognitive Stimulation (0.40), Educational Value (0.35), Craft & Quality (0.25),
each scored 0 to 50, multiplied by four.
Tier. One of five bands, defined below.
The three dimensions, on 2,587 of 2,587 titles. They are published
only where the current formula reproduces the published composite exactly.
Where it does not, the dimensions are withheld rather than shown alongside a
total they do not sum to.
SEL score, 0 to 50, on children's titles. A separate social-emotional
measure referencing the CASEL competencies. It does not feed the composite.
Kids flag. Whether the title sits in the children's vertical, which
carries credentialed review.

What is not in it
No user ratings or aggregated opinion. Every score is one editorial
judgment against a published rubric, not an average of an audience.
No unscored titles. A work enters the dataset only after it has been
watched and scored. Pre-release and provisional numbers are never published.
No personal or viewing data. Nothing here describes any individual.
Not a measure of intelligence. The score rates what a work asks of
and gives back to attention. It is a content rating, and it says nothing
about any viewer.
Not a completeness claim. The catalog reflects what TVI has chosen
to watch and score. It is not a census of television, and selection is
editorial.
Provenance and cadence
Scores are produced by Jordan Robinson, MD MPH, with credentialed developmental
review by Cordelia Witty, EdS., NCSP, on children's content. The methodology is
public and versioned; the dataset states the version it was produced under.
Titles are added weekly. Score revisions are recorded rather than made silently,
and the version here reflects the live rubric, currently v1.3.
