The TVI Take
Bong Joon-ho's 2017 Netflix film about a young Korean girl and her genetically-engineered super-pig confronting an American agribusiness conglomerate. The structural commitment to letting industrial-food-economy cognition (factory-farming mechanics, livestock-marketing science, slaughter-protocol depiction) be the actual subject is rare family-aimed cinema.
