The TVI Take

Todd Phillips's 2009 Las Vegas film whose structural commitment, reconstructing the previous night via discovered evidence rather than via flashback, is one of the cleaner screenplay engineering achievements of late-2000s American comedy. The Bradley Cooper / Ed Helms / Zach Galifianakis trio renders male friendship dysfunction with specificity the genre rarely admits.

The tiger and the Mike Tyson cameo land because the film's logic is internally consistent.
