Joe Brumm, who created the series, writes and directs. Richard Jeffery, a longtime series director, co-directs. Amber Naismith, whose producing credits include Happy Feet and The Lego Movie, produces. Ludo Studio makes the film with BBC Studios, and Brisbane's Cosmic Dino Studio handles the animation.
Melanie Zanetti and David McCormack return as the voices of Chilli and Bandit. The announcement names no other cast.
The entire official story description is a single sentence: the film takes place over an action-packed day during which a major surprise changes everything for Bluey and her family. We are leaving it at that rather than decorating it, because a logline is not a content warning and should not be turned into one.
The change parents will notice first: 2D to CG
