The TVI Take

Enrico Casarosa's Pixar feature set on the Italian Riviera that the studio's marketing undersold as a buddy story. The sea-monsters-as-allegory framing is left open enough that queer-coded, immigrant-coded, and neurodivergent-coded readings all sit comfortably without the film forcing any of them.

The Vespa dream as a cognitive engine the protagonist actually pursues is rare child-animation work.
