How we stay independent. Editorial scores are not for sale. TVI may take on paid advisory or research work, but no commercial relationship buys coverage, advance access to scores, favorable treatment, or a change to a published finding. The TVI Take
Jennifer Lopez plays airline CEO Jackie Cruz opposite Brett Goldstein's workaholic executive in a raunchy Netflix romantic comedy about two career-obsessed colleagues who start leading with their hearts. The ensemble of Betty Gilpin, Tony Hale, Bradley Whitford and Edward James Olmos gives it polish, and it charted at number two on Netflix, but the writing stays in breezy crowd-pleaser territory that asks little of the viewer beyond a pleasant summer evening.
