The TVI Take
Matt Reeves closes the Caesar trilogy as an Apocalypse Now allegory, staging vengeance and mercy across a snowbound prison-camp war. Andy Serkis's performance-capture Caesar carries near-silent stretches of grief, and Weta's landmark VFX plus Michael Giacchino's score make the craft exceptional.
Thematically serious for a blockbuster, though its moral spine stays linear.
