The TVI Take
George Lucas builds real scope here: the Kamino clone-army reveal, the Geonosis arena, and Obi-Wan's noir-styled detective thread give the middle prequel political scaffolding the saga rarely attempts. The digital-backlot staging, stilted dialogue, and airless Anakin-Padmé romance blunt it, though Yoda's saber duel and Williams's score keep the craft honest.
Competent, not more.
