The TVI Take

Rich Moore's Disney film that does the rare thing: treats arcade video games as cognitive material rather than as nostalgia bait. The 8-bit-to-modern visual language commits to the premise with real fidelity.

Ralph's antagonist-becomes-protagonist arc is genuine character work; the in-game labor-economics jokes are unusually pointed for a family film.
